Ancestral birth doula certification 2025
The goal of this training is to prepare professional women to accompany the families with a strong coherence between the traditional medicine and the contemporary knowledge in which traditions and academic studies converge in balance to respond to women’s needs with emotional intelligence, wisdom, knowledge and intuition as birth doulas.
OUR VISION
The vision of this certification is to inspire more women to deepen their studies into traditional work and ancestral wisdom, bringing back to the land the ancestral work and ancestral memory from an integrated space, at the same time that we will navigate all the normal hospital protocols and tools to support with love and respect women either at home or at hospital as a professional birthkeeper-doula.
ANCESTRAL BIRTH DOULA CERTIFICATION 2025
Dates: April 2025- Nov 2025
This comprehensive program provides the knowledge and skills needed to support birthing people through pregnancy, labor, breastfeeding, miscarriage and postpartum, reawakening the ancestral wisdom and traditional ways that had been a very important part of the well being of the society to keep a healthy community, at the same time that we converge with science and evidence based resources to prepare professional Doulas with a deep and balance training in western and traditional work.
This is a blended training in which online and hands on are part of it. Traditional midwives will be teaching online and 2 retreats for hands on will be holded at Vantaa, Finland with Brenda Miquiztli.
WHAT THIS TRAINING INCLUDES
2 Intensive retreats of 3 and 2 days: One at the beginning of the training and one at the end of the training in Helsinki, Finland with Brenda Miquiztli (You can do it online if you are in another country).
1 groupal online live sessions with one Traditional Midwife per month (3-4 main Midwives). You can get to know more about them in the wall of this event and in the link below.
(Traditional Midwife Beti Flores, Traditional Midwife Mirna Amaya (México)), (Traditional Midwife Sabrina Speich (Méx-Switzerland)).
1 online live session per month mainly with Brenda Miquiztli to deepen into practical teachings and clarify doubts and questions.
4 online sessions with special guests: Those meetings will be in the last 4 online meetings of the training (They will be announced later in the program).
Assigments and 4 birth practices to certificate.
1 Individual coaching at the end of the training with Brenda Miquiztli.
